Patricia A. Bendorf

Pat Bendorf has had a long affiliation with our school district, as chairperson of the Bond Oversight and Curriculum Committees, as well as holding the positions of clerk and vice-president for the Clark County School District Board of School Trustees. She held positions on school PTA’s and on the Board of Managers of the Nevada PTA and also co-founded and served as president of the Southern Nevada Association for Children with Learning Disabilities.

Mrs. Bendorf grew up in Montana and attended Northern Montana College and UNLV as a business major.  She has been married for over 50 years and has two children and four grandchildren. She retired in 2001 after a long-time career with Southwest Gas Corporation and owning her own business.

You may have seen Mrs. Bendorf reading to our students or attending one of our school functions. She still finds her time spent with children very rewarding and fulfilling. We are happy that she decided to move to Las Vegas and are grateful that she and her husband, Jerry, continue to support our school.  We will continue to make her proud of the school so deservingly named after her.
